Thank you for the honour of experiencing last night’s performance. What a truly unforgettable and spectacular event. From beginning to end, it paid deep respect for the mastery of music and artists that came before us and the ones we got to witness in the room. You spoke of unity, diversity and rebellion from a place of hope, and that’s what this event embodied completely for me. Thank you for making it such a joyous celebration of our Arab heritage and an active (heart felt) protest against polarisation and division. I can’t wait to see more events like this.
